Read the Question Carefully

Many candidates lose marks by not reading the full question. Exam questions often include qualifiers like "minimum", "maximum", "shall" vs "should", or "except when". These small words determine the correct answer. Eliminate obviously wrong options first, then compare the remaining choices carefully.

Exam Day Strategy

Answer every question — there is no negative marking. If you are unsure, eliminate the obviously wrong answers and make an educated guess. Aim to complete the first pass in 90 minutes, leaving 30 minutes to review flagged questions. Do not spend more than 3 minutes on any single question in the first pass.

Practice Under Timed Conditions

Complete at least 3-4 full mock exams under strict 2-hour time conditions before your exam date. This builds the speed needed to look up regulations efficiently. Many candidates who know the material still fail because they run out of time.
